Underwriter Laboratories RSC test includes a designed side attack against the bolts of the safe door. Some companies have tried to change the mechanism to pass this test, while some others have resigned to not sell products that pass the UL standards. Fort Knox standards require us to go beyond just passing the UL test, so we add our Drill Deflector plate in the corner of the safe to prevent a drill attack on the bolts. Complete security only comes with the Fort Knox name on it.
